🌱 Regenerative Farm

The land we are restoring

Regenerative farming is not a trend — it is a commitment. A commitment to leave the land better than we found it. At Lunina dolina this is not a word on paper but a daily practice.

🌍

Soil restoration

Through rotational grazing, composting and no ploughing, we build a living soil layer that holds water and stores carbon. Every year the topsoil grows deeper.

💧

Water retention

Swales, pond systems and mulching teach the soil to hold every drop of rain. Drought is a challenge for us — not a catastrophe.

🌳

Agroforestry

Trees and farming live together. Orchards, hedgerows and silvopasture create a mosaic that gives a home to hundreds of species.

🐄

Integrated livestock

Animals are not a burden — they are part of the system. We move them across the pastures the way a wild herd would move, and the soil repays us with a rich sward.

🌸

Biodiversity

Our meadows are not a monoculture. Flowering strips, wildflowers, hedgerows and tree lines look after pollinators, birds and small animals.

👐

Shared knowledge

Our knowledge is not a secret. We share it through workshops, visits and an open farm — because we believe we regenerate faster together.

Our goal for 2030

By 2030 we aim to establish 10 hectares of fully regenerated landscape, plant 500 trees, build 3 ha of agroforestry systems and become a reference point for regenerative farming in Slovenia.
